The Mustad × RJ Boyle Strip Hook with Pin Rig & Swivel is a rigged hook setup for fishing bonito strips and other strip baits. Each pack includes four hooks for wahoo, kingfish, tuna, mahi, and other pelagics.
RJ Boyle primarily fishes this setup on top-water baits, with 8/0 and 9/0 as the preferred sizes. It can also be used behind a planer; the Mustad × RJ Boyle Ultimate Stainless Planer Hook is the recommended alternative for strip baits down deep.
Built around the Mustad O’Shaughnessy 3407 Hook, each hook is rigged with a swivel and Monel wire to pin the strip bait in place.
