The RJ Boyle Mirrored Plunger Trolling Lure is a skirted big game lure for blue marlin, white marlin, sailfish, and other offshore pelagics. Its weighted mirrored plunger head adds flash and produces an aggressive side-to-side shaking action.

Designed for 50–130 lb class tackle, the Plunger is commonly fished from the short or long outrigger. Mix plunger-head lures with other scoop, plunger, and slant styles to offer different actions throughout your billfish spread. Mahi, tuna, and wahoo may also take these lures.

Rigging

Choose a rigged single- or double-hook version, or select the unrigged option. Rigged versions use the Mustad 7691S Stainless Steel Southern & Tuna Big Game Hooks in 10/0, a 900 lb stainless steel cable hookset, and 20 feet of 300 lb monofilament leader.
