RJ Boyle Wahoo High Speed Trolling Rig - Stainless Jet

The RJ Boyle High-Speed Stainless Wahoo Jet is a wahoo trolling lure designed for speeds up to 18 knots. Its heavy-duty stainless steel head provides added weight and a streamlined profile, while four jet holes create a bubble trail behind the lure. Choose a rigged single- or double-hook version, or select the unrigged option for your own setup.

The Jet is generally fished in the medium and short positions of a wahoo trolling spread, but it can be fished anywhere in the lineup. Fish it with or without a trolling lead to suit your setup.

Rigging

Rigged versions use the Mustad 7691S Stainless Steel Southern & Tuna Big Game Hooks in 11/0 on 6 feet of 480 lb stainless steel cable. The single- or double-hook set is stiffened with X-Hard adhesive-lined 1/2-inch heat-shrink tubing. The cable leader is crimped with a 1.6 mm double-wall copper sleeve and finished with a loop for attachment to a snap swivel.
