RJ Boyle Wahoo High Speed Trolling Rig - Mirrored Dart

The RJ Boyle High-Speed Mirrored Wahoo Dart is a wahoo trolling lure designed for speeds up to 18 knots. Its mirrored head delivers flash and a streamlined profile for targeting wahoo. Choose a rigged single- or double-hook version, or select the unrigged option for your own setup.

The Dart is generally fished farther back in a wahoo trolling spread, but it can be fished anywhere in the lineup. Fish it with or without a trolling lead on tackle ranging from 30 lb to 130 lb. Boats fishing lighter tackle can run a full spread of Darts or mix them with other lightweight high-speed wahoo lures.

Rigging

Rigged versions use the Mustad 7691S Stainless Steel Southern & Tuna Big Game Hooks in 10/0 on 6 feet of 480 lb stainless steel cable. The single- or double-hook set is stiffened with X-Hard adhesive-lined 1/2-inch heat-shrink tubing. The cable leader is crimped with a 1.6 mm double-wall copper sleeve and finished with a loop for attachment to a snap swivel.
