RJ Boyle Mirrored Scoop Trolling Lure

The RJ Boyle Mirrored Scoop is a proven big game trolling lure designed for blue marlin, white marlin, sailfish, and other offshore pelagics. The weighted mirrored scoop head creates an aggressive swimming action with plenty of flash and movement to attract fish into the spread.

This trolling lure is designed for 50–130 lb class tackle and can be fished throughout a traditional billfish trolling spread.

Building a Billfish Trolling Spread

Most anglers trolling for billfish fish a combination of scoop, plunger, and slant-head lures. Each head shape creates a different action in the water, giving fish a variety of presentations throughout the spread.

While the primary targets are blue marlin, white marlin, and sailfish, these lures will catch just about any pelagic that comes into your spread, including mahi, tuna, and wahoo.
