The RJ Boyle x Mustad 3407 Strip Hook with Pin Rig & Swivel is one of our go-to hooks for fishing bonito strips and other strip baits. We primarily fish these on our top-water baits, but they can also be used behind a planer.
Built around the super-strong Mustad 3407 hook, each hook comes rigged with a swivel and Monel wire to securely pin your strip bait in place. Simple, strong, and proven for wahoo, kingfish, tuna, mahi, and other pelagics.
The 8/0 and 9/0 are our preferred sizes for fishing top-water strip baits. For fishing strips down deep behind a planer, check out the RJ Boyle Ultimate Stainless Planer Hook.
