Swordfish Bait
Adding product to your cart
The RJ Boyle Mahi Tuna Bug with Artificial Bonito Strip is a rigged trolling lure for mahi, tuna, and other pelagics. A Mylar squid flasher adds flash and movement, while a 6-inch pearl artificial bonito strip provides a baitfish profile.
Each pack contains one complete rig, ready to add to your offshore trolling spread without attaching a natural strip bait.
Each rig uses a 7/0 Mustad 7766-DT Hook on 6 feet of 60 lb fluorocarbon leader, finished with a 130 lb Spro swivel.
RJ Boyle has been a staple in the world of big game tackle for decades, supplying tournament-ready lures, baits, and rigs to some of the best captains and anglers in the sport. From swordfish and wahoo to billfish, tuna, and other pelagics, RJ Boyle tackle is built from real experience on the water.
Mustad × RJ Boyle brings together proven big game tackle, trusted hooks, and decades of offshore experience in every rig.
“Rigging has always been at the heart of what we do at RJ Boyle. We know that every component is critical in big game fishing, especially the hook. You have to be able to trust your tackle. Mustad hooks have been a core part of the RJ Boyle arsenal for decades, so teaming up with them to produce professionally rigged, ready-to-fish lures was a no-brainer. We’re proud to be partnered with them.” — RJ Boyle
