The Mustad × RJ Boyle Ultimate Stainless Planer Hooks are rigged stainless steel hooks for fishing strip baits behind a planer. Each pack includes four hooks for targeting wahoo, kingfish, tuna, mahi, and other pelagics.
This is RJ Boyle’s recommended hook setup for strip-bait planer fishing. For top-water strip baits, the separate Mustad × RJ Boyle Strip Hook with Pin Rig & Swivel is available in preferred 8/0 and 9/0 sizes.
Each stainless steel hook is rigged with a barrel swivel and soft stainless wire to hold the strip bait in place. Choose 10/0 or 12/0. The 12/0 version is the Mustad × RJ Boyle Ultimate Stainless Planer 12/0 Hook.
